Over the years, many of our families have attended workshops hosted by the incredible Sharon Vella, and the feedback has always been the same practical, reassuring advice delivered with genuine warmth, experience and understanding.

As part of our commitment to supporting families beyond the classroom, we are delighted to welcome Sharon back to Grace Village Blacktown for a special Toilet Training Workshop.

Sharon is a highly respected Mothercraft Nurse with more than 30 years of experience supporting and educating families through the many stages of early childhood. She holds advanced qualifications in lactation and infant care and has spent decades helping parents navigate everything from sleep and settling, feeding and routines, through to toddler development and parenting challenges. Sharon’s approach is practical, evidence-informed and focused on building confidence in both children and their families. (Mothercraft for Babies⁠)

Toilet training can often feel like one of the biggest milestones of the toddler years. Questions such as “When is my child ready?”, “What if they’re not interested?”, and “How do I manage setbacks?” are common for many families.

During this workshop, Sharon will share practical strategies, developmental insights and real-world advice to help make the toilet training journey feel less overwhelming and more successful for both parents and children.

Families will have the opportunity to:
• Understand the signs of toilet training readiness
• Learn practical and effective toilet training strategies
• Navigate common challenges and setbacks
• Build confidence in supporting their child through this important milestone
• Ask questions and receive expert guidance
